K1 Kinector Rotational Testing & Rehabilitation Device

The K1 Kinector

The K1 Kinector Isokinetic Rotational Testing & Rehabilitation Device was designed for accuracy, safety, reliability and to improve the quality of life for any athlete or athletic minded individual. Manufactured with therapists and athletic trainers in mind, our device gives a specific edge when strengthening and rehabilitating patients in rotational therapy. Whether general sports training or rehabilitation, one of the K1 Kinector’s key function is constant resistance thru full range of motion, keeping the brain engaged and focused on targeting key muscles in and around the ankle, knee, hip, and core. This rotational testing and evaluation device is ideal for athletes looking to improve strength, speed, and stabilization, whether in basketball, football, baseball, tennis, golf, hockey, softball, soccer, volleyball, elderly or athletic minded individuals. When we’re talking about athletic training or rehabilitation in rotation, our proprietary sensor system(currently in research and development) will help therapists and trainers assess and identify compensation patterns immediately allowing them to quickly follow up with precise strength training of weak muscles in the knees, hips, ankles, and core.

K1 Kinector

Taking a look at the machine gives you an exact image of how well supported you will be. Designed for those in rehab from injury or others looking to build strength. Everything ties together to give you the complete package of rotational therapy from A to Z. The athletic community now has the opportunity to build the ultimate strength, flexibility, and resistance to protect an athlete from injury, speed up recovery and the opportunity for a next level type of performance.

Pulley System

As you know, there are no straight lines in the human body. Using that basic fact, our pulley system leverages rotational movement for maximum strength building or rehabilitation. Having the pulley system work alongside the rotational plates connects your movements to the resistance bands and weights to stimulate enhanced rotation and endurance.

This incredibly seamless pulley system provides both resistance training and maximum strength training. Working in conjunction with small free weights and 3 levels of resistance bands of various strengths your subject will retain maximum muscle flexibility at all times. While engaged, the pulleys’ embedded proprietary force sensors will send data to the processor allowing for real-time data on their performance, immediately.

Through select compound integrated movement patterns and skill-based high-intensity exercises, you can leverage the pulley system to directly improve your rotational movement to build stronger balance, strength, and recover faster. . The essence of every movement in the kinetic chain revolves around a rotational axis that must be finely tuned. The K1 Kinector Rotational Testing & Rehabilitation Device will help you do just that.

Proprietary sensor w/monitoring system

Still in research and development our sensor and monitor system will be an especially useful function for personal trainers, athletic coaches, and rehabilitation experts who look to follow their patient’s improvements closely. This proprietary force sensor system will work directly with the pulley system allowing data to be sent directly to the monitor for instant feedback. Located just beneath each rotational footplate, the force sensors are an integral part of keeping track of the subject’s progress in real-time.

The amount of rotation you are capable of can often indicate an underlying problem in your kinetic chain. Having a sophisticated sensor monitor your movements gives you real-time read-outs showing when compensations occur, thus allowing the therapist or trainer to immediately apply muscle release techniques to move forward using the K1 Kinector muscle strengthening techniques. As patients get better and better with their rotational efforts, they will begin to feel it. The K1 Kinector patent pending sensor and monitor system is there to keep your patients on track as they strive to meet their goals day by day.

Foot Support

You may take your foot and handlebar support for granted, but we don’t. With an affixed sole provided on top of each footplate, users receive maximum comfort and sensory accuracy. The comfortable fit around the toes and superior padding around the ankle allow you to use the foot enclosures in both standing or sitting positions. The overall goal of accurate data is achieved with our patented foot support system that aids in delivering maximum accuracy for both testing evaluation and rehabilitation.

Handrail Support

The handrail along the top of the apparatus provides superior stability to an injured athlete or elderly patient when in the standing position. Think of your typical treadmill handlebar with bars to grip in the front and along the user’s sides as perfect support.

Cover

Made for durability, the K1 Kinector external cover is designed to protect the heart of this rotational device from the outdoor elements at all times. Manufactured from steel and powder-coated materials, our cover gives the look and feel of a solid, built to the last machine you can depend on. Its latch door locking system provides easy access to open and change out the resistance bands or routine cleaning. This type of protection makes this device portable to any athletic event, either sideline or courtside.

Knee Attachment

Our proprietary knee attachments were designed for comfort. Having a pair of adjustable pads surround each knee supplies unparalleled comfort in both the plane toward and away from each knee. Contoured and padded to specifically fit each knee helps accommodate anyone using the machine. Comprised of a detachable removal bracket gives you easy access to the vertical support system. By insisting that users get to experience a constant circular or spiral movement as they utilize the machine, every muscle, tendon, fascia, and joint starts to communicate and operate in a more efficient kinetic chain.
